Cookies and electronic communications

What this site stores on your device, and how we use email, calls and messages (PECR).

1. Cookies and similar technologies

The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 ("PECR"), as amended, require us to tell you about, and in most cases get your consent for, cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting) that are not strictly necessary.

This site does not set any cookies and does not use local storage, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. We load no scripts at all (our content security policy forbids them), and the fonts and images are served from our own domain.

If we ever add anything that needs consent we will show a clear notice with an equally easy "reject" option first, and update this page. You can always block or delete cookies in your browser settings; see the ICO's guidance.

The TyreStack application and the demo. The product's own screens may store a small amount of data on your device that is strictly necessary to work, for example to keep you signed in or remember a setting. That is exempt from consent. We do not use the product for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we will list anything that needs consent here before it is used.

2. Email, calls and messages (PECR)

PECR also governs electronic marketing. This is how we approach it.

Email and text or app messages

Calls

We do not make automated or pre-recorded marketing calls. We screen any live marketing call against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and the Corporate TPS (CTPS) and do not call numbers that are registered, unless the person has told us they do not object. We always identify ourselves and give a way to contact us, and we stop when asked.

Your choices

To stop any marketing from us, use the opt-out link in the message, reply "stop", or email privacy@tyrestack.com. Service messages (for example, about your account or a security matter) are not marketing and we may still send them.

3. If you use TyreStack to message your own customers

Customers who use TyreStack to contact their own customers, including by WhatsApp, email or text, are the sender for PECR and are responsible for having the right consent or lawful route, for honouring opt-outs, and for following the rules of each channel (including Meta's WhatsApp Business policies). Replying to a customer's own enquiry and sending messages that are necessary to carry out a job they asked for (confirming a booking, an arrival time or an invoice) are service messages, not marketing. We will provide opt-out handling in the product; the Customer decides who it contacts and why.

4. Enforcement and contact

PECR is enforced by the Information Commissioner's Office. If you think we have breached PECR, or you want to complain about unwanted marketing, contact us at privacy@tyrestack.com and we will deal with it promptly. You can also report it to the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. For how we handle personal data generally, see our privacy notice.
